Can you be my primary care doctor?

In many cases, yes. However, we are only specialty providers in some plans, so check with your insurance company. Some insurance plans allow us to provide primary care services (specialty co-pay required). The type of insurance coverage and policy is depended upon contracts between the university and the individual insurance plans.

Do you charge for missed appointments?

Appointments not canceled within 24 hours of the visit will generate a late cancellation charge. Cancellations within 24 hours of the visit must be done by phone. It is the patient’s responsibility to keep their appointment. The phone reminders are provided as a courtesy only.

What if I’m late?

If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may have to reschedule. Please plan to arrive at the medical center at least 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow time for traffic and parking. New patients should arrive in the office 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for traffic, parking, insurance verification and completion of forms. If scheduled to see another provider at the medical center, please arrange at least 60 minutes between appointments.
